Vy joined Rogue Company for its advanced technology to help her survive after getting infected by a weaponized Bio-Virus. Thanks to Saint, she managed to slow down the spread of the poison and even learned to harness its effects by using it in traps against her enemies. Vy relentlessly fights on missions, even as she continues searching for a cure.

With unshakable determination and a feral spirit, Vy refuses to let any obstacle stand in her way, even when facing the deadly virus that is slowly killing her. Exceptionally capable in combat, she demands that her teammates never give in to despair, alerting them about their mistakes and telling them to keep fighting no matter what.

Render Nightshade

"The Nightshade is a cutting edge silenced assault rifle."

Vy is equipped with an assault rifle and a shotgun. The Nightshade is the fastest firing assault rifle, but also deals low damage and has low range when compared to the other ARs. However, with the rapid shots from this weapon, this AR pairs best with Vy's passive.

Render S12 Tactical

"The S12 Tactical is a lightweight semi-automatic shotgun."

The S12 Tactical has the best handling and the furthest range of any other shotgun, making it easier to use. On the other hand, its damage isn't high, but this weapon also pairs well with Vy's passive due to its amount of pellets.

The Executioner is very damaging and tied with the P12K for having the longest range, behaving much similarly to a DMR, but it has the worst handling and the longest reload time of any other pistol. It has the second slowest fire rate but still manages to succeed in close or mid ranged distances.

Abilities[]

Vy's Vile Poison is covers a wide area when deployed and lasts for some time. It is a great defense tool because it does not only damage enemies, but it also permanent decreases their maximum health. Vy's passive is similar to Rare Armor, but instead must be built up by dealing damage.

Gadgets[]

The Incendiary Grenade is best used for blocking areas or directly damaging the enemies. The Tear Gas Grenade can also have good use, especially because it disorients rogues, making their aim considerably worse and increasing their chances of missing shots. However, be careful when deploying both gadgets, since allies can be affected by both of them.

Perks[]

Vy's perks are based around bolstering her survivability and ability & gadget use. Her damage output from Volatile will make her uses of her ability and gadget more dangerous. Gadgeteer and Energized grants her her tools in less time and Bulletproof, Bounce Back and Tenacity makes Vy tougher to take down.

Strategy[]

Vy specializes in retakes and area denial, keeping enemies at bay whilst her or a teammate defuses the bomb or keeping enemies off the objective. If accomplished correctly, her ability to retake sites and objectives can be very powerful and, with a proper team, can make enemies struggle with regaining the site. Vy is diverse, providing intel, becoming tougher and playing combatively.

Trivia[]

  • Despite Vy having two combat knifes sheathed into her vest, they aren't available to be used in-game.
  • Vy is one of the two characters with a Jackal-related skin. If officially included in the lore, Vy did join Jackal, it is yet to be known why. One of the popular theories says it might certainly be because of her desperation for a cure.
  • Lorewise, Vy's poison is killing her, but in-game, her abilities allow her to gain additional health from other people being in it. Her Mastery Emote even has her breathing in this poison.
    • Even though it is said to be "deadly", perks such as Evade and Bounce Back are part of her loadout.
  • Vy's passive used to be exclusively related to her ability. This means it was unusable by Dahlia when linking to her, and overall considerable worse since it was an extension of an already existing ability.
    • Fortunately, after many players' appeals, she gained a new passive with the Glimpse Update on January 11, 2022, making her able to gain maximum health when dealing damage with firearms, and functional to Dahlia.
