Kestrel is a highly accomplished member of Rogue Company who played a significant role in its foundation. She has been fighting against criminals even before the organization existed and continues to support it after her retirement. Though she understands the importance of teamwork during missions, Kestrel prefers fighting alone than having an unprepared soldier by her side, considering herself too good for anyone or anything.

As a Duelist, Kestrel has many different tools to attack enemies and cover her whenever she needs, being able to take care of multiple enemies at the same time.

Weapons[]

Kestrel is equipped with an assault rifle and a submachine gun. The Riptide is an assault rifle that stands out due to its fast fire rate and reload time, being relatively easy to control and effective on different situations. However, it deals a pretty mediocre amount of damage, falling behind other weapons of its class.

The Knight is a submachine gun that excels at dealing damage, also standing out due to its great handling. This weapon's main flaws are its slow fire rate and short magazine size, both being upgradable, but still not drastically increasing its viability.

Kestrel's pistol is the P12K, a silenced secondary weapon with a very fast reload time, great handling and decent fire rate. This sidearm stands out due to its versatility, not falling behind others of its class due to the lack of true flaws.

Kestrel's drones deliver a lethal amount of damage that can greatly help her to take out multiple enemies. In some situations, it is possible to place them to damage opponents behind cover, forcing them to expose themselves and become vulnerable to Kestrel and her teammates. Since they're not a deployable, they cannot be destroyed and will only stop shooting when their duration expires. Enemies with high toughness or the Tenacity perk are able to move out of the drones' radius fairly easily, requiring Kestrel to shoot at them to maximize her power. Due to her passive, downing opponents grants extra cash, allowing her to purchase equipment and perks faster than other rogues, having an upper hand in the next rounds.

Gadgets[]

Kestrel carries a consumable gadget and a grenade. She uses the Adrenaline Shot to quickly get her health back up and a speed bonus to make a hasty retreat from an overwhelming fight, leaving her teammates to take care of remaining enemies. The Bounce Grenade has special physics that allow it to clear out enemies around corners or behind covers, allowing Kestrel to perform surprise attacks.

Kestrel's perks aren't focused on a singular playstyle, but rather, they deem her as a versatile Rogue. Her perks are very utility-based, focused in upgrading her effectiveness and self-sustainability, while also applying more versatility to her gameplay. With her passive, they should be prioritized to get an advantage over enemies, becoming even more viable for attacks.

When aiming with Kestrel's ability, try to do it behind a wall so enemies won't be able to predict it.
The Halo Drones can be used as defense tactic against trigger-happy enemies that are willing to push without backup or aren't equipped with their health related perks.
