Ronin is equipped with an assault rifle and a SMG, allowing her to be very creative with her guns. The KA30 is a well-balanced gun with decent default ammo and damage. The major problems about this assault rifle is its recoil and reload time, making it important to be upgraded at least to Tier 2 or buying the Nimble Hands perk to make this weapon more viable and fittable to your gameplay style. Another issue about this weapon is its range, being the second lowest, so it is not recommended to use it at a very far distance. Overall, it's still a great gun to Ronin's loadout.

Render SL-C — *"The SL-C is a high rate of fire submachine gun."*

The SL-C has the second fastest fire rate (beaten by the Objection) and the second fastest reload time (beaten by the LMP-X and the 24S). However, it also has the second least damage, second least range and the worst handling of other SMGs available in the game. Its fire rate and versatility is what makes up for the other flaws of this weapon, suiting Ronin's arsenal incredibly well.

The Spitfire has the fastest rate of fire of all the other pistols, due to it being a rapid firing gun. It's important to mention that it has the least damage and travels the least distance compared to other weapons in its category, excelling in close-range combats and being a good alternative when you run out of bullets in your KA30 or SL-C.

Abilities

Ronin's Ballistic Knife can be used as a trap or even as a melee weapon. She can place it on walls, on the ground, crates, cars, bombs, objectives, and so much more in the scenario. If an enemy passes by it, it will instantly explode and down them. Another approach you can make with this versatile ability is throwing it, downing any enemy it hits. The Ballistic Knife does 125 damage, so enemies must equip the Tenacity perk in order to survive a hit from it. If they combine the Headstrong and the Tenacity perks, they will definitely survive the explosion from the knife, but their health will be low enough for someone to finish them off. Additionally, she can place it and shoot the knife to hit nearby enemies that aren't close enough to set it off. Gathering these possibilities with Ronin's passive ability, she can sneak up on enemies because she will not be visible on the mini map and is immune to revelations, allowing her to attack without the concern of being noticed. However, the Ballistic Knife has a easily noticeable blinking effect that shows enemies its location, making it easy for them to avoid or destroy it.

Gadgets

The smoke grenade can block enemy's vision through it, allowing Ronin to make a stealth approach. It also reduces enemy movement speed if they are inside it, guaranteeing a great advantage to teammates. Combining it with the Ballistic Knife can be a great option to take enemies down. For those who prefer agressive approaches, the grenade is what you're looking for. Its explosion radius can be upgraded to increase your chances of downing Rogues, and its damage can be upgraded from 100 to 125, making it deadly even for enemies with shields.

Significant Perks

Ronin's key perks are Tenacity, Replenish and Tracker Rounds. These perks increases Ronin's chances of winning combat encounters and effectiveness, making reload time the least of her problems.

Notable Strengths

Ronin has perks that makes her more useful during fights and decreases her weapons' reload time considerably. The KA30 is currently one of the most versatile assault rifles and the SL-C delivers fast-firing damage towards the enemies.

Notable Weaknesses

Ronin suffers in long-range combats and this leaves her at a disadvantage since it takes a good time to fully upgrade a primary weapon.

Strategy

Ronin plays as a frontline damage on her team, allowing her to be more devastating downing enemies than others. She fights from a close or medium distance with resourceful weapons and makes use of gadgets that are useful for different attack approaches.

Trivia

In the early concepts of the game, Ronin used to have long hair.
Ronin's passive ability used to be one of the worst of the game, considering the mini map is not very used by the majority of players. However, with the Switchblade Update, her new immunity to any type of revelations made her a stronger Rogue.
