Damage equipment, cancel and prevent targets from using their abilities, gadgets and radar for a duration.
— In-game Description

The EMP Grenade is a gadget featured in Rogue Company. It works as a remote EMP device, destroying equipments and preventing enemies from using their abilities, grenades and radar for some time.

It is available and accessible to Dima and Scorch.

Strategy[]

The EMP Grenade is certainly a versatile gadget. It can be a useful breaching tool to stop enemies from using their abilities and gadgets and to destroy their equipments, allowing you and your teammates to attack them while they have nothing to defend themselves but their weapons. Another great utility for this grenade is to be used as a defensive backup device, disabling their abilities in case they rush into you.

Trivia[]

  • The EMP Grenade behaves similarly to Gl1tch's ability, only having a much reduced radius and requiring the player to directly hit gadgets and enemies with it. However, he does not have it in his loadout.
  • The EMP Grenade, along with the Smoke Grenade, the Pop Smoke Grenade and the Tear Gas Grenade, are the only gadgets in the game containing "Grenade" on their name which do not cause any type of damage.
  • The EMP Grenade used to be featured in Dallas' loadout until the Runway Update, which gave him the Adrenaline Shot instead.
